Karboxx creations stand out for their modern and functional style and are designed to easily blend in with everyday surroundings, using cutting-edge design and technological evolution coupled with outstanding materials. Karboxx has returned to the roots of Italian craftsmanship, using skilled artisans to work with materials that have otherwise been forgotten as well as using some unconventional materials that are technologically advanced and lightweight yet strong - translucent and reflective materials for decorative items which create frequencies, light and shadows which defines the space around them.
Karboxx works with some of the world’s best designers, the designer is an alchemist who merges and blends aesthetic values and identities, experimenting with a new approach to light – an approach that is less conventional and more mindful. This light was designed and created by Enrico Franzolini.
Born in Udine in 1952. Enrico studied in Florence and graduated in architecture at the University of Venice. In 1972 he was invited to the 36th Biennale Exhibition of decorative arts in Venice, exhibiting two object produced by the Livio Seguso glass manufactory in Murano.
